Nine-year-old Chris is ready for a warm, windy day to make his kite-flying dreams come true. All he needs is a kite, but his grandfather’s got other ideas. Will Grandpa’s newspaper, glue, and tales of the old days take flight, or will Chris’ hopes for fun crash and burn?
About the author/
Illustrator.
David James was born in the cultural melting pot called the United States. However, he grew up in another melting pot, the islands of Trinidad & Tobago. It was here he developed his penchant for art and Caribbean culture.
Currently, while chasing the great American dream of entrepreneurship with his own graphic design business, he dabbles in digital art and other creative endeavors.
